My 75th story starts on June 9, 2021 at the Annual Evening with the Alpena Chamber event. For 26 years, MyMichigan Health Foundation has been awarding the Health Leadership Award to local companies who make an outstanding effort to contribute to community and employee health. Clark was this year’s recipient, and it was an incredible achievement after a year with so much uncertainty due to COVID-19.
I’m sitting at the event next to Clark President & CEO, Sam Clark, waiting to hear our company’s named called. I’m super nervous, but also excited because I already know we are the recipient for 2021. Sam’s about to go on stage in front of 300 local business folks and let me tell you, I can’t not be more proud to say I work for an amazing company. Sam was incredible in his speech! A true leader, extremely passionate, caring, and humble. My nervousness went away in a matter of seconds, well done Sam! Congratulations on 75 years.
