Clark Construction Company took on the role of Design/Builder for the groundbreaking Boyne Mountain waterpark, an expansive 88,000 sq.ft. indoor haven. Within its walls, a multi-level oasis emerged, featuring thrilling tubes, slides, invigorating water jets, and soothing spas.

Crafted to thrive within a high-moisture environment, the project encountered unique challenges. Robust structural elements formed the foundation, involving heavy-duty concrete and steel to support the dynamic aquatic features. The waterpark’s distinctive aesthetic was cultivated through intricate finishes, reflecting an Austrian sky village theme.

Amidst the construction complexities, elaborate mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems were meticulously integrated. The intricate network of piping, the relentless HVAC maintenance of the controlled environment, and the coordination of electrical elements showcased the project’s technical innovation. Recognized by the World Waterpark Association, Avalanche Bay clinched the “Industry Innovation Award” in 2005, applauding its imaginative theming and groundbreaking water leisure concepts.
