This 2009 Bond Program included demolition of the existing Finney High School and construction of a new 221,000 sq.ft. High School on the same site.  The new building accommodates up to 1,200 students.  The state-of-the-art facility features four wings with eight science laboratories, a high-tech media center, athletic area with a community health clinic. The performing arts center includes an 800-seat auditorium, small black-box theater with a scene shop and dressing rooms, a 2,400 sq.ft. band room and a 1,900 sq.ft. choir room.  A cafeteria commons anchors the four wings that also function as an assembly area.

The indoor athletic wing features a gymnasium with bleacher seats for 1,300 spectators, an 8-lane competition pool and diving well with balcony seating for 230.  Outside facilities include a football and track-and-field complex with stadium seating for 1,100.  Also included are four tennis courts, varsity baseball and softball fields and event parking.

Also included was a separate $6 million contract for the Kettering Special Education High School addition.

This was a Tooles/Clark joint venture project and Design/Build contract with Albert Kahn Associates serving as the Architect.
