Projects K-12 Education

Lansing School District Pattengill Middle School

The project involved the construction of a new 175,000 sq.ft. Middle School alongside athletic fields and support spaces. The school’s design was modeled after a prototype developed by GMB Architects-Engineers, tailored for urban settings. Additionally, a 27,000 sq.ft. Performing Arts Addition was seamlessly integrated into the new building, accommodating a 750-seat auditorium with dressing rooms, scene preparation, control room, lobby, and restrooms, as per GMB’s specific design.

Upon completion of the new middle school, the existing Pattengill Middle School was fully demolished, making way for new parking and green spaces. Moreover, the project encompassed renovations across high schools and middle schools within the district, along with the reconstruction of football fields and tracks at two high schools.
