Clark Construction Company is currently renovating and replacing the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system at MSU’s Clinical Center Animal Facility. The facility was built in 1976 and the HVAC system is nearing the end of its useful life. In addition, the outgoing system cannot ensure optimal animal health, welfare and research results.

The new HVAC system being installed will control and maintain the proper temperature, differential pressure, humidity and outdoor air exchange at room level. The goal is to ensure continuous operation during equipment failure and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal animal health and welfare, and research results.
