Clark Construction Company offers more correctional experience than any other contractor in Michigan. The Clark Team has provided program management, design/build, construction management, and general contracting services for municipal, county and state correctional facility projects for over 50 years. In fact, our first correctional project was the Ionia Dormitory and Cell Unit built in 1954. Since then we have completed 60+ correctional projects with beds for over 15,000 inmates throughout the State of Michigan including numerous county jail projects.

We recognize the challenges public entities face in meeting their needs, building adequate facilities at a reasonable cost, gaining constituent support, and communicating with elected officials, appointees and the public. Our staff of seasoned professionals will augment your Board, Committee, and/or Department and serve as the construction expert, guiding you through your project, providing options and timely pertinent information. We have a proven system of communication, teamwork, and reporting that will insure that your project moves forward and maximizes taxpayer benefits while improving the efficiency of your operation.

Our services are designed to take you through each step of the building process from inception through completion and start up. We will assist in identifying your needs, develop a plan for completion, and assist you with the transition of move in and start up. Our level of experience with correctional facility construction enables us to provide cost savings through value engineering and constructability reviews, as well as accurate budgets and schedules.
