Tim Ward Promoted to Senior Project Manager

Tim Ward 2005
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Tim Ward from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager.
Tim started his career with Clark Construction in 2005. As a Superintendent in the industrial market, he clearly demonstrated his experience gained from working on many significant projects with his previous employer. Tim’s leadership skills quickly earned him the role of Project Manager at Clark. In that role, Tim has worked on numerous projects in many market segments.  Some of these projects include the Grand Mountain Lodge, Odawa Casino, Pattengill Middle School, the Gold LEED Certified Madonna University Franciscan Center $18 million), the Gold LEED Certified Ferris State University College of Optometry Building ($22 million), and NCMC Science Building. Tim is currently the lead Project Manager on our $65 million MSU Bio-Engineering facility.
Tim’s depth of construction knowledge and superior project management skills have been demonstrated by:  his dedication to constructability, his careful review of bid documents and the thorough description of work he establishes for bid packages; his full commitment to the value engineering process;  the detail and care with which he establishes and manages the trade partner’s contracts; his efforts to work with both the Architect and the Owner to issue change orders in a timely manner; and his accurate maintenance of the overall project budget.
Tim’s work ethic has been notable as has his mentoring of younger professionals by sharing his knowledge of both construction and project management with them.  His straightforward manner of conveying his commitment to the project and rallying the trade partners and project team members is well known to those he has mentored.  Tim has also been instrumental in maintaining client relationships and getting new work.
In the early 70s, Tim served in the US Coast Guard for four years.
