I started working with Clark Construction when I was I working for another company that partnered with Clark on a joint venture for a project in Grand Rapids. I was the only member of the joint venture team that didn’t work directly for Clark. Through this experience, I got to know Clark and all their employees very well over that three year span, and I had a great group to work with during the entire project.
After three years, my wife and I wanted to head back to Northern Michigan where we grew up so we could raise our family there. When I was leaving the Clark trailer, Bobby LaLonde stopped me and said Clark had tossed around an idea to open an office in Northern Michigan. Two months later, he called me and said Clark is opening an office in Alpena and asked me to join the team. After all my positive experiences with their team, there was no question that I wanted to be a part of the Clark family.
