Supporting Women Leaders

We believe the board room should reflect the real world. We want to cultivate women leaders within our company. We are working towards their 5-Point Action Plan to minimize or eliminate unconscious bias, as well as significantly increase the number of women in senior operating roles.

Internship Program

Clark has a robust internship program focused on developing career-long employees who are developed and trained with the proper guidance and mentorship along the way. We seek out our interns in the Fall and spots fill up quickly. We also offer a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarship to support women, BIPOC, and persons with disabilities to create a equitable playing field for the construction industry.

Our Living Our Values committee creates opportunities on a quarterly basis for service projects across the State. We encourage time away from the jobsite to serve the communities where we build because we believe serving a community is more than just building buildings. Working in the Trades

The demand for skilled trades is strong and getting stronger. The United States Department of Labor forecasts healthy growth of 8 to 9 percent over the next decade in the trades. Working in the trades can lead to a stable career, with a solid salary, and no student loan debt. You can even be paid to receive training. There are many opportunities for advancement in the trades and room for people with many different skillsets. Working in the trades can also lead to jobs in project management, estimating, or other areas of construction management in the future.
