Operation Good Cheer
/in Community, News/by Zack ReedClark Construction Company is participating again this Christmas in Operation Good Cheer, which is an entirely volunteer gift-giving program sponsored and coordinated through Child and Family Services of Michigan, Inc. Operation Good Cheer is a program that provides Christmas gifts to children placed in foster care, residential treatment and group homes across Michigan. The recipients include infants, children, youth and adults with disabilities. Each year, thousands of volunteers gather to purchase, wrap, and deliver gifts from the child’s “Wish List”.
Many of these would not receive Christmas gifts if it were not for the many generous donors from all over Michigan. Each “Wish List” is personally created by the sponsored child, to give them the opportunity for the most memorable Christmas possible.
We are proud that this is the seventh consecutive year that we have participated in this worthwhile program. Last year we provided 30 infants, children, youth and adults with Christmas!
