St. Joseph County Courthouse Renovations

Revitalizing a timeless 1899 structure, the renovation journey of the St. Joseph County Courhouse featured meticulously crafted replicas of the original millwork and wood doors, alongside the resurrection of historic light fixtures. Intricate research recreated decorative painting patterns and colors, displaying the building’s original allure.

Modernization extended to concealed wiring and piping, elevating mechanical and electrical systems to contemporary standards. The project included a comprehensive thermal-pane window replacement and structural reinforcement of floors, aligning them with current design norms. Furthermore, in harmony with accessibility principles, the entire building complex, encompassing six additional structures, was upgraded to seamlessly align with ADA requirements. Witness a revival that not only respects history but also paves the way for an inclusive and enhanced future.
