St. Louis Level IV Correctional Facility

Introducing a cutting-edge Level IV security prison sprawled over 50 acres, this project encompasses seven housing units, an administration building, gymnasium/education building, support services building, warehouse building, storage building, and four guard towers. Impressively, completion occurred three months ahead of schedule and under budget, even amidst a late-stage transition from Level V to Level IV security, effectively doubling the facility’s capacity.

The facility boasts robust security with dual fences featuring razor-ribbon wire, an electronic detection system, armed gun towers, vigilant patrolling, and extensive surveillance cameras. Clark Construction Company’s exemplary performance was acknowledged with a 1999 AGC “Partnering Recognition Award,” a testament to their commitment to excellence in project management and execution.
