The remarkable transformation of Emmons Hall encompassed a 100,850 sq.ft. renovation within the overarching Brody Complex upgrade initiative. The comprehensive renewal elevated the 4-story building with substantial mechanical, electrical, and architectural enhancements, shaping a modernized and vibrant space. Highlights of Emmons Hall’s evolution featured the integration of life-saving automatic sprinklers throughout the building, adherence to ADA codes, and innovative elevator replacement.

Emmons Hall witnessed a sweeping rejuvenation, characterized by asbestos, lead, and PCB abatement, as well as the complete replacement of windows and curtain walls. Remodeled residential wings, revamped flooring and ceilings, and meticulously reconstructed restrooms and showers ushered in a new era of comfort and aesthetics. Moreover, a more inviting entrance with a distinct canopy and a captivating curtain wall graced the north lobby, while reconfigured community bathrooms on each floor contributed to the hall’s renewed functionality and allure.
