Clark Construction Company seamlessly provided Construction Management services for Livingston County’s ambitious addition and renovation project. Spanning 57,000 sq.ft., the jail expansion addressed a long-standing water issue, necessitating the removal of 25,000 cu. yds. of problematic soil. To mitigate the problem, a network of 20″ and 36″ concrete pipes, totaling 2,400 and 350 linear feet respectively, was meticulously installed. Following this, the transition to the new 17,000 sq.ft. jail commenced, ushering in a comprehensive renovation of the former facility.
The culmination of these efforts resulted in an integrated complex capable of housing 240 inmates, featuring a cutting-edge dispatch and communication center, work release programs, and administrative service offices.
