The project included demolition of the existing press box on the west side of the stadium; the addition of twenty-six new luxury Suites; an 18,500 sq.ft. indoor Club Level with 862 Club seats; 1,700 new upper deck seats new press and broadcast facilities; office space for University Development; a Grand Entrance; concessions; and upgrades to the existing stadium. Capacity of the stadium was increased from 72,027 to 75,005.

Twenty-six new suites were constructed in a new tower addition above the Upper West deck. The suites accommodate between 12 and 24 guests complete with luxury seats, television monitors, refrigerators, elevator access and private restrooms. The Club Level was built in the area of the former press box and includes 862 Club seats are outside and covered by the upper deck, which will allow heating and protection from the elements.

Mechanical system consisted of two (2) 300-ton steam absorption chillers for cooling. Heating provided through the use of air handling units (AHU) and fan coils generated by the campus steam system.

The construction team incorporated the University’s football schedule into the construction schedule in order to accommodate game-day activities. During the week of each home game, construction was halted at 3:00 pm on Thursday and the site was reconfigured to allow media and fan access. Immediately following the game, the site was reconfigured again for the start of construction.
