Clark provided overall program management services for this new 440-bed prison.  The scope of work included clearing 50 wooded acres and re-creating 30 acres of existing wetlands.  The complex consists of an administration building, food service facilities, educational building, flammable storage buildings,  5 maximum security housing units, and a legal library.  The campus-like setting is surrounded by a double-perimeter, 16-foot-high fence.

Clark Construction Company returned almost $1 million to the State of Michigan in unused staff costs!
